In Friday's league match, the visiting West Rowan Falcons basketball team scored a decisive 73-48 triumph over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 19. West Rowan will attempt to move on its 22-1 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 5-18 record after their 45-33 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC).
With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus moves to 18-5 on the year. The Trojans host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to meet the Knights in a 3A South Piedmont match on Monday, February 19. The Knights enter the match with a record of 6-17. Lake Norman Charter lost 64-40 in their recent league match against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
