The South Salem Saxons topped the visiting Sprague Olympians basketball team by a final score of 53-44 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Saxons face the North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley game, on Tuesday, February 20. South Salem will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 4-20 record after their 70-19 league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR).

With the defeat, Sprague moves to 10-13 on the year. The Olympians host West Salem (Salem, OR) to face the Titans in a 6A Central Valley game on Friday, February 23. The Titans enter the game with a record of 14-8.
