The Wallace County Wildcats basketball team (Sharon Springs, KS), dropped 54-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS)
The Indians now possess a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Wichita County will battle a Broncs team coming off a 56-18 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, KS). The Broncs record now stands at 13-6.
The Wildcats (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Golden Plains dropped by Northern Valley (Almena, KS), 49-23, in a non-league battle.
