The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs routed the host Sleepy Eye Indians basketball squad by a margin of 83-53 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Cougars go into the A Section 2 outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Cedar Mountain was trounced by Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN), 86-50, in a non-league outing.

The Indians now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Red Rock Central for a non-league outing on Monday, February 20. Sleepy Eye will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 61-57 non-league win over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 9-14.
