In Friday's league outing, the Wrenshall Wrens (Wrenshall, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting Floodwood Polar Bears (Floodwood, MN), by a margin of 62-54.

The Wrens (6-17) will now prepare for their outing against Cook County (Grand Marais, MN). The Vikings go into the A Section 7 outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Cook County was beaten by Northland (Remer, MN), 92-39, in a non-league outing.

The Polar Bears now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida for a A Section 7 outing on Monday, February 20. Floodwood will clash with a Ogichida squad coming off a 82-68 non-league win over McGregor (McGregor, MN). The Ogichida record now stands at 9-8.
