Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH), 78-76 in a league bout.

With the victory, Perry upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host East Palestine (East Palestine, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-16.
