Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), 40-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lenape Valley upgrades its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ) to play the Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Devils come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Morris County Tech won 45-35 in their recent non-league bout against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ)

Next up, the Braves play the Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record.
