The Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Cove Leopards (Cove, OR), 40-28 in Saturday's league test.
The Panthers (24-3) will now prepare for their test against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Mountaineers go into the non-league test with a 15-10 record. In their last test, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter notched a victory over Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR), 48-41, in a league test.
The Leopards now own a 25-8 record. They play next when they travel to Valor Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 20. Cove will encounter a squad coming off a 59-41 league loss to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR). The record now stands at 13-7.
