New Mexico High School Basketball - Lordsburg topped by Mescalero Apache

The Mescalero Apache Chiefs basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Lordsburg Mavericks to 49 in the Chiefs league victory on Saturday.
The Chiefs now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tularosa for a 2A District 3 contest on Tuesday, February 20. Mescalero Apache will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-49 league win over Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-4.
The Mavericks (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats come into the 2A District 3 contest with a 19-4 record.
