In Monday's non-league test, the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), by a score of 68-37.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley test, on Tuesday, February 18. Newton-Conover will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 21-4 record after their 65-30 non-league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC).
