In Friday's non-league outing, the Little Falls Flyers (Little Falls, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN), by a margin of 56-47.
The Flyers (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm go into the AAA Section 8 outing with a 11-10 record. In their last outing, Sauk Rapids-Rice was beaten by Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN), 67-61, in a non-league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Braham for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 22. Pierz will clash with a Bombers squad coming off a 48-46 non-league loss to McGregor (McGregor, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 6-14.
