Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI), 48-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tawas Area upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Braves host Alcona (Lincoln, MI) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Alcona won 60-37 in their recent league bout against Rogers City (Rogers City, MI)
Next up, the Owls play the Pinconning Spartans (Pinconning, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 23. Oscoda will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 64-52 league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI).
