Georgia High School Basketball - Langston Hughes trounces Douglas County

February 18, 2023: Fairburn, GA 30213

The Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA), 66-38 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (22-4) will now prepare for their test against Rome (Rome, GA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 15-12 record. In their last test, Rome was trounced by Sequoyah (Canton, GA), 61-58, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 20-7 record. They play next when they host Sequoyah for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21. Douglas County will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 61-58 league win over Rome (Rome, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-11.
