Georgia High School Basketball - Douglas County overwhelmed by Langston Hughes

The Douglas County Tigers basketball team (Douglasville, GA), was overwhelmed 69-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA)

The Panthers now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexander for a AAAAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Langston Hughes will confront a Cougars team coming off a 46-33 league loss to Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-12.

The Tigers (17-6) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars come into the AAAAAA Region 5 battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Alexander trounced East Paulding (Dallas, GA), 45-35, in a league battle.
