In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Northeast Jones Tigers baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Stringer Red Devils.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, South Jones was overwhelmed by Purvis (Purvis, MS), 12-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Red Devils play the West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 21. Stringer will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Petal (Petal, MS).
