The Milaca Wolves (Milaca, MN) basketball edged the visiting Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN), 49-45 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Pequot Lakes for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. Milaca will play a Patriots team coming off a 74-65 non-league loss to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Patriots record now stands at 17-7.
With the loss, Pine City falls to 8-15 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN) to play the Rangers in a AA Section 7 bout on Friday, February 21. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Crosby-Ironton lost 68-53 in their recent league bout against Esko (Esko, MN)
