North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy bested by Mount Pleasant

February 18, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110

Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 57-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mount Pleasant advances its record to 16-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to meet the Comets in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Comets enter the match with a record of 21-5. North Stanly won 59-49 in their recent non-league match against South Stanly (Norwood, NC)

The Cardinals now own a 13-10 record.
