The Anderson County Mavericks basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Gibbs Eagles to 35 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now have a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. Anderson County will confront a Dragons team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Karns (Knoxville, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 9-14.

With the loss, Gibbs falls to 5-23 on the campaign.
