Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD), 47-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year.
The Hornets now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crossland for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A match on Wednesday, February 19. Surrattsville will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 39-33 league win over College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-10.
