The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) and the host Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR), observed Nelson's basketball team overwhelm Gresham by a score of 77-20.
The (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Rams come into the 6A Mt. Hood challenge with a 12-9 record.
In their next game, the Gophers encounter the Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge, on Wednesday, February 19. Gresham will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record.
