The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), observed Santa Fe's basketball team edge La Cueva by a score of 34-33.

The Demons (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Sandia was nipped by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 52-26, in a non-league test.

The Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs come into the non-league test with a 3-11 record.
