Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL), 49-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 25-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 26. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 21-6. Calhoun won 61-40 in their recent non-league bout against South Lamar (Millport, AL)
