Michigan High School Basketball - North Dickinson can't hold off Rapid River

The Rapid River Rockets basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting North Dickinson Nordics to 41 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Rockets now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norway for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Rapid River will battle a Knights team coming off a 77-40 non-league win over Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI). The Knights record now stands at 16-5.
The Nordics (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Republic-Michigamme (Republic, MI). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Republic-Michigamme was nudged by Hancock (Hancock, MI), 61-47, in a non-league contest.
