DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 65-53 in a league match.

With the victory, DeKalb upgrades its record to 23-6 on the year. The Barbs host Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to face the Warriors in a DuPage Valley match on Friday, February 21. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 29-1. Waubonsie Valley won 75-59 in their recent league match against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)

The Mustangs now sport a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prospect for a non-league match on Friday, February 21.
