The North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles basketball team scored 91 points and restricted the visiting Cavalier Tornadoes to 60 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakota for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] will battle a Raiders team coming off a 64-58 league win over New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Raiders record now stands at 4-4.
The Tornadoes (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND). The Aggies come into the B Region 2 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Park River/Fordville-Lankin triumphed over Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND), 68-40, in a league contest.
