The Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) basketball crushed the host Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), 69-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Jellico (Jellico, TN). The Blue Devils go into the 1A District 2 test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, Jellico walloped Hancock County (Sneedville, TN), 59-55, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they host Johnson County for a 2A District 1 test on Tuesday, February 7. Happy Valley will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 58-51 league win over West Greene (Mosheim, TN). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-11.
