The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Kimball Cubs to 46 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watertown-Mayer for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Eden Valley-Watkins will battle a Royals team coming off a 61-55 league win over Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN). The Royals record now stands at 13-6.

The Cubs (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN). The Irish come into the AA Section 6 contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, Maple Lake was routed by Rush City (Rush City, MN), 87-37, in a non-league contest.
