In Thursday's league outing, the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), by a count of 69-33.
The Quakers (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 11-11 record.
The Mighty Hoppers now hold a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Spring Friends for a Potomac Valley outing on Monday, February 6. Georgetown Day will clash with a Wildebeests squad coming off a 84-51 league win over McLean (Potomac, MD). The Wildebeests record now stands at 16-8.
