Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) and the host Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), saw River Mill's basketball squad overcome Southern Wake Academy by a tally of 55-36.

With the victory, River Mill improves its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC) to confront the Tigers in a 1A Conference 13 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Triangle Math & Science lost 97-18 in their recent league challenge against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)

Next up, the Lions confront the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a 1A Conference 13 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 5-20 record after their 49-38 league loss to Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC).
