New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Belleville Wildcats (Belleville, WI), 61-35 in a league bout.

With the win, New Glarus upgrades its record to 19-0 on the season. The Glarner Knights host Waterloo (Waterloo, WI) to clash with the Pirates in a Capitol - South bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Waterloo lost 48-39 in their recent league bout against Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Cambridge Bluejays (Cambridge, WI) in a Capitol - South bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Belleville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 48-36 league win over Marshall (Marshall, WI).
