The Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 65-52 in Thursday's league test.

The Braves (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Blue Ridge Early College notched a victory over Nantahala (Topton, NC), 100-49, in a league test.

The Maroon Devils now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Robbinsville for a 1A Conference 43 - Big test on Tuesday, February 7.
