Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) and the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), saw Wilmington's basketball squad wallop Hickory by a tally of 66-31.

With the victory, Wilmington improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Grove City (Grove City, PA) to confront the Eagles in a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Grove City lost 34-24 in their recent league challenge against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 46-14 league win over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA).
