The Sharpsville Blue Devils basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Grove City Eagles to 24 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cochranton for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Sharpsville will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 49-20 league win over Saegertown (Saegertown, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-11.

The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Greyhounds enter the District 10 Region 4 contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Wilmington ran past Hickory (Hermitage, PA), 66-31, in a league contest.
