The Grove City Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Hickory Hornets to 38 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Grove City will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 40-14 league win over Reynolds (Greenville, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-4.
