South Carolina High School Basketball - Wren nips Powdersville

Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC), 37-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, Wren upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to play the Bears in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Patriots play the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Powdersville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
