The Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), 76-69 in Friday's league test.

The Galloping Ghosts (16-5) will now prepare for their test against New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA). The Lions go into the Suburban One - American test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, New Hope-Solebury was tipped by William Tennent (Warminster, PA), 70-59, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh for a Suburban One - American test on Tuesday, February 6. Wissahickon will encounter a Colonials squad coming off a 54-45 league loss to Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 14-7.
