The Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 49-42 in Friday's league test.
The Yellowjackets (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans go into the West Alameda County - Foothill test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Castro Valley was tipped by St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA), 67-55, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Modesto Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Bishop O'Dowd will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 67-61 league win over Lincoln (Stockton, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 21-3.
