The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Randolph Rockets to 49 in the Awesome Blossoms non-league triumph on Friday.

The Awesome Blossoms now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triton for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Blooming Prairie will meet a Cobras team coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Cobras record now stands at 9-12.

The Rockets (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Lester Prairie triumphed over Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN), 74-67, in a non-league contest.
