In their next game, the Wildcats face the Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Brookeland will attempt to move on its 23-7 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 24-7 record after their 81-41 league win over Zavalla (Zavalla, TX).

With the defeat, Chester moves to 9-20 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Burkeville (Burkeville, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 1A Region IV District 28 battle on Tuesday, February 6. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 9-14.
