Kentucky High School Basketball - Caldwell County thwarts Dawson Springs

The Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Dawson Springs Panthers (Dawson Springs, KY), 53-38 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons go into the District 7 test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Madisonville-North Hopkins went down by Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY), 65-61, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Hickman County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Dawson Springs will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 67-26 league loss to Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 3-14.
