Virginia High School Basketball - Patrick County ripped by Carroll County

The Carroll County Cavaliers basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Patrick County Cougars to 42 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Radford for a Three Rivers contest on Wednesday, February 7.

The Cougars (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, James River was routed by Radford (Radford, VA), 48-33, in a league contest.
