Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), 77-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Plano East upgrades its record to 30-0 on the season. The Panthers host Plano West (Plano, TX) to play the Wolves in a 6A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 19-13. Plano West won 63-54 in their recent league bout against Marcus (Flower Mound, TX)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Coppell will attempt to move on its 15-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 12-16 record after their 57-53 league win over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX).
