Danville Bears (Danville, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT), 48-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Danville upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT) to clash with the Bucks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Bucks go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Blue Mountain won 45-30 in their recent non-league bout against Northfield (Northfield, VT)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Proctor Phantoms (Proctor, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D bout, on Monday, February 5. Twinfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Phantoms go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 60-58 league loss to Long Trail (Dorset, VT).
