The South Rowan Raiders basketball team (China Grove, NC), was nudged 63-62 in Friday's league battle with the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC)

The Mustangs now possess a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Cabarrus for a 3A South Piedmont battle on Tuesday, February 6. East Rowan will confront a Trojans team coming off a 65-64 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 11-9.

The Raiders (0-19) will now prepare for their battle against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders come into the 3A South Piedmont battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Concord edged West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 70-57, in a league battle.
