Hillsboro Hawks (Hillsboro, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Festus Tigers (Festus, MO), 60-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-10.

Next up, the Tigers play the Windsor Owls (Imperial, MO) in a Jefferson County - Large bout, on Friday, February 9. Festus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record.
