The Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA) basketball nipped the host Grace Lancers (Simi Valley, CA), 52-51 in Friday's league test.
The Owls (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 14-11 record. In their last test, Carpinteria got by Fillmore (Fillmore, CA), 38-32, in a league test.
The Lancers now own a 2-13 record.
