The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting St. Charles Fighting Saints to 45 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host United South Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Lewiston-Altura will meet a Rebels team coming off a 52-35 league win over New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 11-8.
The Fighting Saints (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Rochester STEM Academy was routed by Alden-Conger (Alden, MN), 84-45, in a non-league contest.
