The Medina Valley Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting McCollum Cowboys to 55 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Legacy for a 5A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Medina Valley will meet a Titans team coming off a 69-67 league loss to Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Titans record now stands at 11-20.

The Cowboys (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Cardinals enter the 5A Region IV District 28 contest with a 4-21 record. In their last contest, Southside was nudged by Southwest (San Antonio, TX), 87-48, in a league contest.
