Kentucky High School Basketball - Nelson County ripped by Washington County

The Washington County Commanders basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Nelson County Cardinals to 42 in the Commanders league triumph on Friday.
The Commanders now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Washington County will battle a Trojans team coming off a 55-54 non-league win over Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 5-17.
The Cardinals (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Marion County was routed by Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY), 74-41, in a league contest.
