Texas High School Basketball - Pittsburg knocked off by North Lamar

The North Lamar Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 37 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a 4A Region II District 15 contest on Tuesday, February 6. North Lamar will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 52-48 league win over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-15.
The Pirates (6-22) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Hawks enter the 4A Region II District 15 contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Grove was defeated by Paris (Paris, TX), 65-46, in a league contest.
